On this page, you will find some movies of my present research at both CEA-Saclay, Service d'Astrophysique, France and JILA, University of Colorado, Boulder, USA, namely multidimensional models of the Solar Convection Zone (c.f this picture to see where it is localized in the Sun) and other stellar spectral types. This research is part of the European ERC project STARS2 STARS2's Web Site . Some models of rotating convection include magnetic fields (dynamo action).
You can also check simulations of spectral A type stars there
Let's have a look at the vertical motions (i.e radial velocity) and the magnetic field realized in my 3-D MHD simulations of the solar dynamo, computed with the ASH code (Clune et al. 1999, Brun et al. 2004) variously on SGI Altix, IBM-SP4, SP6, BG/p, HP-ES45 with up to 8000 cores.
